Pineapple Software are pleased to announce that they have been contracted by
Acorn Computers Ltd to provide registration services for unique system
resources (ie SWIs, filetypes etc etc) to the Acorn Clan and Registered
Developer communities.
You do not need to send in/email the whole copy of !Allocate; just the data file that it produces.
When !Allocate is first set up the user fills in details about their organisation. Registered Developers should ensure that their number does appear in the appropriate field, and Clan Members should put their Clan membership number in this field.
We accept allocation requests by email or post - details below.
In exceptional circumstances very simple requests can be made by fax. Note that the fax line is connected to a discrete fax machine; not a faxpack or arcfax, so do not fax !Allocate data files! Fax may also be used to check on allocation requests, though email is preferred.
Please note that only the contact details below should be used. In particular
please note that telephone allocations or allocation enquiries are NOT
provided.
Attachments should be sent as uucode generated by !Allocate. MIME capability may be added at sometime in the future.
Online 24 hours a day - note that this is a discrete machine, not an Arcfax or Faxpack, so don't send uucode!. It should only be used for very simple requests, eg one or two items which do not require supporting files.
