The administrator or single user decides the choice of sites that the site or individual talks to, and controls the costs of wide area networking ownership. Joining and navigating around the Information Superhighway is easy through the ability to select specified hardware and Internet providers. Sends information to those PCs and Apple solutions which also use de-facto standard protocols.
