Designed to make the business of connecting RISC OS machines to PC, UNIX and Apple networks as simple and cost-effective as possible. Software only solution, so no additional hardware is required. Enables the sharing of hardware and software including hard discs, printers, JPEGS, MPEGS and text files - all on the same physical Ethernet network. Supports the use of NTServer, LanManager, Windows for Workgroups, NFS and RISC OS solutions such as Level 4 and Acorn Access, all through a single software interface. Allows the transfer of data to selected servers and retrieval when required. This includes RISC OS applications. Files can be simultaneously shared with RISC OS, PC and Apple machines, and OmniClient provides a whole site network for mixed environments. Happily co-exists with all other Acorn networking solutions.
