The space-saving two-box design and robust construction make the A3020 ideal for introductory use, particularly by young children, and in IT rooms where space is limited. Optional additional memory and a hard disc allow better use of the whole world of RISC OS applications - providing some of the best curriculum software in the world. Even with the internal hard disc and network options fitted, overlay keyboards, scanners and other devices are still supported through an optional internal interface card. The Acorn A3020 has an easy-to-learn windows and mouse system - no computer codes or complicated commands and is an excellent entry level product for peer-to-peer networking or as a client in a client/server network.
